A glorious Southampton evening departure aboard QE2 for her 40th Anniversary Voyage at 17:00. Firetugs spraying fore & aft. Crowds cheered & quite a flotilla of small boats & yachts - 15 Sep 2007	Sir Jimmy Savile boarding QE2 from fishing trawler CJ LEWIS. 22:45 21 Sep 2007 a fabulous firework display on The Mersey. The air was still & QE2's funnel became shrouded in smoke; Crowds lined Princes Dock & many were still there when QE2 sailed 03:30	Poor photos of Liverpool; it rained all morning, take shelter under an umbrella or like me an underpass.
