A Day's Ship Spotting in Southampton, Portsmouth & at Calshot Spit 2 July 2008 Please click on the links below to view my Photo Albums Video Clips A nice start early morning at Southampton watching QE2 arrive & APL London depart. A visit to the Maritime Museum & Mayflower Park after which it began to pour with rain. A wet & windy Harbour Trip at Portsmouth was followed by glorious sunshine when Normandie departed & caught the stern of Spirit of Adventure disappearing early. Around to Calshot Spit where one could not have hoped for better weather as QE2 sailed by, blasting her horn, followed by Grand Ruby arriving.
